On Lake Como, Number Two

On Lake Como, Number Two

by John Taylor Arms

The most movement is caused by walking on deck. Otherwise, you wouldn’t even know you were on a boat. No wind. No movement.

Another boat has been inching its way towards us for about three hours. The ripples from its first approach are just reaching us now I think.

We’ll eventually reach other and wave greetings. He might holler something that I won’t understand. I think I’ll skip the shouting bit. Maybe I’ll pretend to understand him just so he shuts up.
